What engine does a 1990 Geo Tracker have?

The 1990 Chevy Geo Tracker was equipped with a 1.6L G16 inline-four engine in a single overhead cam design. This engine comes from the Suzuki G series and could deliver up to 80 horsepower. It could be mated to a five-speed manual, three-speed GM TH180 automatic or four-speed Aisin 03-72LE automatic transmission. The G16 engine was used in all North American Geo Tracker models produced from 1989 to 1995; in 1996, the Tracker was upgraded to the Suzuki 1.6L G16B, a 16-valve inline-four that increased output to 96 horsepower.

How reliable is a 1990 Geo Tracker?
