Slave & Master Cylinders

Master and slave cylinders are the cornerstone of any hydraulic clutch system. The master cylinder stores fluid and sends pressure to the slave cylinder when you press the clutch pedal (manual) or the onboard computer reaches a shift point (automatic). The slave cylinder then helps disengage the clutch so you can change gears. Switching to a new master-slave cylinder combination can help you shift faster and put less strain on other components so you can transmit the right amount of torque to the powertrain.
