TJ V8 WITH AX15 TRANS

Jeep TJ Wrangler 1997-2004 Chevy V8 Conversion Packages

Designed for the Gen 1 & Gen 2 GM Engines with the 153 tooth 12.75" Diameter Flywheel.

The installation of the bellhousings in these kits will require the transmission to be moved forward 2" to 2.5" so drive shaft modifications, 1" body lift, and 4" suspension lift required.

Vehicles Equipped with Asin AX15 Five Speed Transmissions

• For use with stock Asin AX15 5 speed transmissions. This transmission option was available from 1997-1999 and was mated to the stock 4.0L high output inline 6 cylinder engine. The Asin AX15 is considered a very good conversion worthy transmission with the ability to hold up against moderate horse power and tire size. Please note that this conversion package is only compatible with Chevy V8 or 4.3 V6 engines that are equipped or have the ability to be equipped with the 12.75" Diameter Chevrolet 153 tooth flywheel.
