The clutch disc #384070 is an essential item needed for 302 V8 conversions in early Ford Rangers. The early Ford Ranger manual transmissions utilized a 1” 23 spline input shaft. The original Ford clutch disc measuring 8-7/8” in diameter is too small to be retained with the larger flywheel and pressure plate. The #384070 disc measures 11” in diameter. This disc can also be used for other applications where 23 spline input shafts are used like early Dodge transmissions.
This 11" Diameter 1" 23 Spline Clutch Disc is manufactured by Centerforce and features an organic disc, full face sprung hub, and is sold separately without a pressure plate, flywheel or release bearing.
