Clutch disc # 382438 is primarily used in Jeep Wrangler conversions where the original Jeep 4cyl AX5 transmission is being replaced with a heavier duty transmission. AA offers several options for AX5 replacements including both the AX15 and the NV4500. Both the AX15 and the NV4500 have 1-1/8th” 10 spline input shafts. Since the original AX5 utilized a 1” 14 spline input shaft, the original 9-1/8th” diameter 14 spline clutch disc cannot be reused. Clutch disc # 383824 is 9-1/8th diameter for use with the factory 4cyl flywheel and pressure plate while offering the1-1/8th 10 spline for the AX15 and NV4500. Kits using this disc include: PN712563, PN712564, PN712555, PN712555np, PN712559.
