Advance Adapters Chevy Motor Mounts for V8 and V6
A universal engine mount kit makes it easier to install an older Chevy V8 or Gen I/II LS engine in customized street, off-road and track vehicles. Our small block Chevy motor mounts are designed for all types of 4WD and 2WD vehicles that have frame rail widths up to 28.75 inches . The frame brackets can be used in the upward or downward position for the best engine location. We designed these Chevy 350 motor mounts for 4x4 owners, but they're a great fit for anyone who wants to swap their stock engine for one that has added power and torque.
Motor Mounts for SBC Conversions
This motor mount Chevy installation kit includes two engine side mounts made from 3/16-inch thick steel and two weld-in gusseted frame mounts made from quarter-inch thick steel, offering durability in rough conditions. There is also a rubber mount kit to help absorb engine vibrations and impacts for a smoother ride. Place the rubber mounts on the outer slots if your vehicle has a wider frame and the inner slots to accommodate a narrower frame.
The brackets must be welded but can be bolted into position to assist with your welding or so the vehicle can be taken to a welding shop. A bolt kit is included for this purpose. If you are dealing with a vehicle that has an open channel, then you should box the frame rail in before mounting the new bracket. The slots of the mounts are designed to give you side- to- side adjustments. The slide lock tab will lock the mount down once the engine location is selected. The slide lock tab requires welding to the mount but can be bolted for securing and assembly purposes so you can relocate your rig to your local welder.
