This conversion package comes with the parts necessary to make installing a Chevrolet 4.3L V6 or V8 engine in your 1980-1986 Jeep CJ Vehicle as trouble free as possible. The 1980-1986 Jeep CJ's utilized both 4 and 5 speed manual transmissions. The 4 speeds being used during this time were the SR4, the Borg Warner T4 and the Tremec T176. The 5 speed during these years was the Borg Warner T5. These transmissions are adequate for most conversions with moderate horse power and tire size. This option comes with our with our weld-in engine mount system, our weld-in mount system is the ultimate in strength and flexibility when it comes to engine placement.
