Advance Adapter
This kit work with all SM465 transmission (10 spline, 35 spline, & 32 spline outputs)
Our GM SM465 to Jeep Dana 18/20 adapter kit. At 7/8" in length, our adapter kit is provides a combined transmission and adapter length of only 12 7/8".
Our adapter is manufacture from Billet aluminum and features three transfer case clocking options. These clocking options are 20, 33, and 40 degree intervals. The clocking options will allow a fine-tune conversion to maximize clearance between the transmission and yoke. Transfer case mount is included.
To obtain the adapter length of 7/8" we had to manufacture a new SM465 main shaft. This new main shaft fits 6 spline drive gears only.
Transfer Case
This adapter assembly will fit any Dana Spicer 18 / 20, Scout version with a 6 tooth female drive gear. The transfer case index to the new adapter will require an index retainer & sealed bearing. Please I.D. the transfer case bore size (3-1/8") small hole or (4") large hole for proper retainer.
